The 'strange' cats in the world

Cats are pets that are loved by many families. With soft fur and lovely beauty, the following cats will make you love as soon as you meet.

1. Maine Coon cat

The Maine Coon or the American long-haired cat is a domesticated cat with a characteristic phenotype and remarkable hunting skills. It is one of the oldest natural cat breeds in North America, a native of Maine state and chosen by the state as its representative animal.

The striking feature of the Maine Coon is its large bone structure, rectangular body and long, fluffy feathers. The Maine Coon may have different colors and is famous for its intelligence and temperament.

2. Cat Toyger

Toyger stands for "toy" and "tiger" (tiger), so many people understand Toyger means "pretty little tiger ".

There are now nearly 400 Toyger children in existence. They are bred by crossing the Bengal cat with domesticated cat. Because of that, the Toyger are actually hybrid cats.

Except for the small physique and modest weight of the cat, Toyger possesses a lot of tiger's physical features: The dark yellow fur points out the striking black stripes, the white circle around the eyes, the majestic gait.

3. British long-haired cat

British long-haired cats have iridescent fur and strong body, from the UK. The head of this long-haired cat is round with bright, round eyes and short ears.

Their legs are short but very strong. The most striking feature of this cat is that its long and thick tail looks impressive.

4. Scottish ear cat

Scotland's Scottish Fold cat has a very special pair of ears with folds. This cat has big round eyes , filled with a sweet sweetness; whiskers grow evenly around the mouth and the short nose is slightly heaving.

When born, the Scottish Fold also had a straight pair of ears, but after about 3 or 4 weeks of age, there were folds that made the ears fade.

5. Persian (Persian) Cat

Persian cats are one of the most popular shaggy cats in the world. Their characteristic is very short nose bridge, so it is often called a cat face . They have strong bodies, big heads, two expressive round eyes.

The Persian cat has a double coat with a long outer coat and a thick, short coat on the inside. Their tails are always ruffled, so care for this cat's fur is quite meticulous, requiring farmers to brush their hair daily.

This breed does not seem very suitable for clean owners because they shed a lot. However, thanks to its soft, pleasant and mild nature, Persian cats continue to be classified as the most loved animals in the family. They are very smart, friendly and attached to their owners.

6. Turkish Van Cat

Cats are known in the United States as Turkish Van, a rare breed of cat and native to Central Asia and Southwest Asia. Color of Turkish Van is quite special with long, white coat, blobs seem to appear only in the head and tail.

Turkish Van is extremely healthy, agile and intelligent but sometimes very curious. With fur that is rarely left over, the owner of Turkish Van is quite idle when not brushing them every day.

7. Siamese cat

Siamese cats are one of the first cats of recognized Eastern short-haired cats. The origin of Siamese cats has not been clear yet, but Thailand is believed to be the origin of this unique breed.

Siamese cats are characterized by blue eyes , with black faces and ash feathers common. Modern Siamese cats are longer and thinner than traditional Siamese cats - quite chubby and round.

Contrary to the concept of cold personality of many people for me, Siamese cats are really friendly and close.

8. LaPerm cat

LaPerm always appears in multicolored fur and unique style. Some kittens were born with hair loss, but most of them had wavy or straight hair from birth.

At 2 weeks of age, LaPerm cats will begin to grow hair, but will fall out at about 4 months of age. After this difficult time, LaPerm's hair will grow again and will always curl in a special way.

Besides the unique fur, LaPerm cat is also very gentle, cute and alert.

9. Russian Blue Cats

Russian Blue is Russian blue-eyed cat breed. The coat color is slightly gray but quite thick and cotton. In particular, this cat has a few white spots on the body. Russian blue-eyed cats are very gentle and they like to stay close to their owners all day without even playing around or disturbing them.

10. Somali cat

Somali cats are a very attractive breed for us to watch. It was strangely born like a small fox with big ears, a face like a masked face, a plump neck and a puffy tail.

With a moderately long body, the coat is smooth and graceful but the muscles of Somali cats are very firm. Round green eyes, bronze colors are enough to attract anyone who loves this cat.

11. Cat Ashera

Dubbed ' the largest, rarest and most exotic home cat ' , Ashera cats own ' height ' more than 1m, four long stable legs with strong, sharp look like newspapers and zebra fur brindle like tiger. He can grow to a maximum of 13.6kg.

12. Angora cat

Turkish Angora cats are the most unique of these cats because they share many common traits with dogs instead of cats. Turkish Angora cats do not bark but they are very intelligent and show a good memory.

Amazingly, the Turkish Angora cat loves to soak in the water. Just like dogs, Turkish Angora cats always complete any assigned task once they have a thought in their mind to take action and not a light sweet patting discourages them.
