The strange story of the land is not accepted by any country

For a country or territory is an inviolable resource and this is the reason for many disputes between countries over sovereignty issues. However, there is a land where both countries around it do not want to receive sovereignty. So what causes this land to be so spurned?

At the border of Egypt and Sudan, the land of Bir Tawil is a quite famous place known as "Terra Nullius" , or Latin for "land of nobody". The cause of the incident stems from the geographical location of Bir Tawil and the nearby Hala'ib area.

While Bir Tawl is a arid 2,060km 2 of land without any advantage in terms of resources and benefits, the Hala'ib region is 10 times larger nearby and is quite rich by the sea as well as occupying the position. convenient for trading.

This is why the governments of the country would rather abandon Bir Tawil to lose Hala'ib, thereby leading to the following irony.

Boundaries of 1899 and 1902 between Egypt and Sudan.

Back in 1899 when the British government remained in the land, the "Anglo Egyptian Condominium Agreement" agreed the borders of Egypt and Sudan at the 22nd parallel, through which the Bir Tawil region would belong to Sudan while Egypt. Control Hala'ib.

However, Bir Tawil was once the sacred land of the Ababda tribe of Egypt, while the peoples living in Hala'ib had a religious culture similar to Sudan's Khartoum tribe. Therefore, for convenience, the British government redrawed the border in 1902, bringing Bir Tawil to Egypt and Hala'ib to Sudan.

When Sudan became independent in 1956, the government wanted to follow the 1902 border map to control the fertile Hala'ib region, while Egypt wanted to follow the 1899 map to gain benefits. Consequently, the Bir Tawil region became a place where no one acknowledged sovereignty.

The war of travelers

Because of the concern and admiration of the governments of the two countries, the land of Bir Tawil became wild with mountains and mountains. The area has only a few exploration teams to exploit gold, a few guards of the two countries to maintain order and tourist convoys for curious travelers.

By 2011, a tourist named Jack Shenker came to the area to flag by his own design to claim, creating a joke for the world.

In 2014, American tourist Jeremiah Heaton also came here to claim the flag, creating "Kingdom of Northern Sudan" and conferred on his daughter the princess. In 2017, another visitor, Suyash Dixit, also flagged the claim for this land, creating the so-called "Dixit Kingdom".

Also in 2017, a Russian named Dmitry Zhikharev announced that he was the true owner of Bir Tawil with the name "Kingdom of Mediae Terrae". Mr. Zhikharev said he was acknowledged by the Egyptian army and even showed the royal passport he designed himself.

Even so, there have not been any official documents or verifications of either Egypt or Sudan about the cases and all of these travelers' claims have only become jokes.
