Open year-round and receive over a million visitors a year, Plitvice National Park is Croatia's most visited national park.
The most prominent feature of the park is 16 interconnected lakes divided into upper and lower clusters. Founded by natural dams, the lakes vary in colors ranging from turquoise to blue, green and gray.
Among these lakes there are many different waterfalls. Guests can explore the lakes and surrounding areas by walking along the wooden walkway or boating.
Souvenirs and snacks are located at both the entrance and exit of the park.
