The truth about the mysterious hotel 33 years without a guest even though extremely monumental scale

However, in North Korea, an extremely luxurious hotel turned into a mysterious place without 33 guests. Even this hotel, although called Ryugyong but often associated with another name is  "hotel of the apocalypse".

Ryugyong Hotel was started construction in 1987, was once planned to become the tallest building in the world and is the largest achievement of North Korea. It has a height of 105 floors, 2.5 times higher than the Great Pyramid of Giza. The hotel has a floor area of nearly 360,000 m2 - a number quite large, so many people compare that it can fit the Vatican city in it.

As expected, after completion, the hotel can accommodate up to 3,000 guests. Of the 105 floors, there will be 8 floors that can be rotated, the restaurants are also rotated to create a great view. At the top of the hotel is a cone about twice the size of the Sphinx. It can be said that the Ryugyong hotel is expected to become a monumental project, a stature in Korea in particular and the world in general.

The Ryugyong Hotel looks like a giant pyramid.

Construction began in 1987 but after so many pauses and then rebuilding so far, this hotel has not really been completed . This has led to the hotel being unable to receive any guests for the past 33 years.

Currently, if viewed from the outside, the hotel is like a giant pyramid in the heart of the city center with surfaces covered with sparkling glass, extremely modern and luxurious. However, inside is a completely contradictory scene due to the incomplete construction.

A number of explanations are given for this, possibly because the height of the house is too large with the selection of inappropriate materials making construction difficult. Besides, in some periods, construction funding is also a problem.

However, someone knows, if in the future, this hotel is completed, then will the tourist believers have yet another interesting place to explore?
