The underground browser leads users to Web Sex

A free Web browser, clapping the chest claiming to be a "anti-piracy tool", is in fact a fraudulent tool to increase hits for hot sex websites.

Picture 1 of The underground browser leads users to Web Sex Source: ECT According to the latest warning from security software Panda Software, Browsezilla is a browser with a name that at first glance makes people mistaken for open source Mozilla browser.

This browser promises users to help it "erase all traces" when visiting pornographic websites. It does not use the history as well as save the data inside the cache, but it allows users to save bookmarks on the remote server.

However, Browsezilla also secretly installs adware on users' computers, helping some porn sites increase their hit counts.

" This adware implicitly opens up a series of" dirty "websites, increasing their hits, even though users don't see anything on the screen at all, " said JJSchoch, Panda's marketing director.

Why need warnings?

In a press release warning of the browser, Panda said, Browsezilla is being used increasingly in the Web surfer community, especially in Italy.

Schoch said it was the first browser to download the "hit" software version he recorded. Although Browsezilla does not have serious consequences for users at the moment, Panda believes that those who write this browser will not stop there.

" They are acting in a way that can harm users. It may not destroy your computer, but it will cause someone's reputation to be destroyed ," Schoch explained.

Even so, even without Panda's warning, users who are keenly aware may also recognize the existence of the above adware. The download feature of this browser has a full " Adult link " section, with heavy erotic images - very rare in other "clean" browsers.
