The world's largest recharging station is about to be built

German company Sortimo is planning to build the world's largest recharge station for electric vehicles with 144 charging points.

In a context where countries are moving towards banning traditional fuel-burning vehicles and switching users through electric vehicles, the world will need more charging stations for them. Therefore, the German company Sortimo is planning to build the world's largest fast-charging station with about 144 charging points. The station is expected to be built near the German highway A8.

According to figures from Sortimo, about 4,000 vehicles can be recharged each day at Innovationspark Zusmarshausen. Of these, 24 out of 144 charging points are supercharged with 350 kW. Tesla Supercharger technology (150 kW). Prediction, Zusmarshausen Innovationspark station would save 29.5 million liters of waste oil and about 60,000 tonnes reduction of CO2 each year.

Innovationspark Zusmarshausen will outpace the image of a regular gas station. According to FAZ, the station can have more offices, shopping and dining. People can order food before arrival so they can eat while the car is being charged.

In terms of design, the charging station is expected to be covered with green carpet, close to nature and architecturally harmony with the environment. Make people feel relaxed like at the park here.

Of course, renewable energy is part of the plan for this gigantic power station. Sortimo also offers extra, solar power can be stocked at the station and used at peak hours in the network of companies and households around. The station is also integrated with the thermal management department of Innovationspark Zusmarshausen, so heat output can be supplied to buildings.
