The world's lightest paper e-book

Wexler has released the world's thinnest and lightest Flex e-book, based on LG's electronic paper technology.

The Flex One boasts a 6-inch XGA (1024 x 768) monochrome display with up to 8GB of memory, twice the size of the Kindle DX and up to four new Amazon Kindle models, weighing in at just 110g. with a thickness of 4mm.

The superior advantage of the Flex One is the 900 mAh Li-ion battery that provides enough power to operate normally for a week without charging.

Without a built-in touch screen, the Flex One is controlled by a device called the D-pad and moved by dedicated buttons.

Flex One is compatible with a variety of formats including TXT, RTF, PDF, DOC, CHM, HTM / HTML, EPUB, FB2 and DJVU files, which EPUB is most interested in. However, the device can not read some proprietary formats like Amazon Kindle AZW.

The product has been on the Chinese market but the retail price has yet to be revealed.
