The wound healing machine does not need antibiotics

Antibacterial, wound healing without antibiotics, no side effects, wound healing machine with plasma technology of two young doctors of Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology It is highly appreciated by direct doctors, opening a new effective treatment.

Patient P. in Thua Thien-Hue suffered from chronic osteoarthritis, underwent multiple surgeries but the wound did not heal. When taken to Hue Central Hospital, the patient was re-operated by Dr. Pham Dang Nhat, Director of the Center for Orthopedic Trauma and Plastic Surgery, taking the entire inflammation but still not completely cured. Patients have many difficulties in curing as well as economy.

At that time, Hue Central Hospital was conducting testing of wound healing machine with Plasma technology of the group of young TS Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. This is a completely new technology in Vietnam, first applied. Japanese doctor exchanged for patients to apply this method. After about 6 times of cold plasma irradiation, in nearly a month, the patient completely ceased.

According to Dr. Nhat, each time the cold plasma beam is applied to the wound only lasts about 5 minutes. Patients are screened about 6-8 times. No side effects were detected during the course of treatment, nor did the patient need to use additional antibiotics, only changing the dressing."I just met the patient of P. patient, it is known, the wound is completely healed, there is no sign of recurrence," said Japanese doctor.

He said that the Ministry of Health allowed Hue Central Hospital to test this method on some patients. Through testing, this method shows very positive and safe results without causing side effects. The method has both antibacterial and antibacterial effects, so it is not necessary to use antibiotics during treatment.

In some cases, a patient in the Blue-Pon General Hospital suffered from deep burns, necrosis, and hospitalization. But after 27 days of plasma therapy, the patient completely recovered without surgery. Many other cases have been treated successfully with this method in Hue Central Hospital, Gia Dinh People's Hospital .

Vietnam soon applied plasma technology

The cold plasma generator called PlasmaMed uses sliding arc technology (Gliding arc plasma - GAP) - one of the world's first plasma transmitters based on this principle, invented by Dr. Do Hoang Tung and Dr. Nguyen The Anh, Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Dr. Do Hoang Tung used to study in depth about Plasma technology when he was a PhD student in Germany. For more than 8 years, Dr. Tung in Germany explored and studied plasma, a new direction in the world and Vietnam. In 2010, Dr. Tung returned home. He and his classmate, Dr. Nguyen The Anh, were working at the Institute of Chemistry, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, and started to manufacture cold plasma beam projectors for medical and aesthetic applications.

Launched with a research project at the grassroots level of VND 15 million, after four years of searching and creating, the cold plasma ray generator with sliding arc technology was born. This is one of the first plasma generators in the world based on this principle. Vietnam became one of the first countries in the world to successfully apply plasma technology for cold treatment in health and aesthetics.

According to Dr. Tung, cold plasma beam can kill bacteria, including antibiotic resistant bacteria and tissue regeneration, quickly heal wounds. Especially, the treatment process does not need antibiotics, this is very valuable in the context of antibiotic resistance is a problem in Vietnam. Also due to the absence of antibiotics, the cost of treatment under this method is much cheaper.

After successful manufacturing, PlasmaMed is being placed in many major hospitals such as the Central Obstetrics Hospital, National Burn Institute, National Hospital of Pediatrics, Hue Central Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital, Medical University. Pharmaceutical City, Trung Vuong Hospital and Gia Dinh People's Hospital. In addition, some spas also use this device in aesthetics and give good feedback.

After being tested and tested clinically in many major hospitals, the PlasmaMed machine of two young doctors was granted a certificate of circulation registration of medical equipment products by the Ministry of Health. Dr. Tung said that many hospitals are offering to deliver products.
