Express-AM4 is the largest communications satellite designed for the Russian federal television agency, the Russian media company. The satellite has 12 antennas and 63 C-, Ku-, L- and Ka receivers providing 15-year lifespan television services in orbit.
The satellite was launched in August 2011 but was trapped in low orbit due to missile errors. Russian authorities have rejected many rescue, trajectory and repositioning Express-AM4 scenarios.
It is expected that this satellite will fall to Earth in the Pacific Ocean on March 20-26.
