Tom Cruise, Elon Musk plan to film in space with NASA

According to The Independent, Tom Cruise is planning to film action in space with the support of Elon Musk's SpaceX program .

The Independent said this project is being developed at an early stage. Tom Cruise and Elon Musk are working with the US Space and Space Administration (NASA) to prepare for the project.

If promoted, this will be the first film project to be filmed in outer space . The Independent also confirmed the new project is not a sequel to Mission: Impossible - Mission Impossible, the action series associated with Tom Cruise's name.

In previous films of Impossible Mission , Tom Cruise always plays the action himself, from hanging on the side of the helicopter ( Rogue Nation ) to climbing the world's tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai ( Ghost Protocol ).

In part 6 of Mission Impossible, Fallout - Crash , the actor was injured in his ankle while performing a stunt jump from roof to roof.

SpaceX is a space ship manufacturer created by tech billionaire Elon Musk in 2002. The billionaire's famous statement is his ambition to develop travel between Earth and Mars.

This is not the first time Tom Cruise intends to make a film in space. Twelve years ago, at the time of Part 2 of the Mission: Impossible to go to theaters, director James Cameron approached the actor for a project on the subject.

The adventure hangs on the side of Tom Cruise's helicopter in the mysterious Country movie - (Screenshot).
