Town people take private planes for breakfast in America

Spruce Creek town is famous throughout the United States when every home here has its own airplane.

Spruce Creek , a town in northeastern Florida, is considered one of the most unique communities in the world. The town has only about 5,000 people, 1,300 houses. People here built 700 private hangars and landing zones before each villa, according to Easy My Trip.

Instead of going to cars, families choose airplanes as a means of transportation. They built their own runway leading straight to the highway, which was located by GPS. For people who love aircraft, Spruce Creek life can be like paradise.

Spruce Creek residents live very solidly and closely. Most of them are professional pilots, often using aviation terms when talking. Others are doctors, lawyers, real estate investors . but all have the same interest in airplanes.

Every Saturday morning, everyone will gather at the runway, take off in groups of 3 and fly to one of the local airports for breakfast. They call this tradition Saturday Morning Gaggle and always maintain it regularly every week.

Spruce Creek is not the only residential community with its own airport in the United States. This model came into being after the Second World War, when the United States had too many "unemployed" pilots and abandoned routes. The number of pilots was about 34,000 in 1939, but increased to more than 400,000 in 1946.

To address this situation, the US Civil Aviation Administration has proposed building 6,000 air traffic bases across the country, opening the way for the formation of a large flight network and the birth of communities. residents share a common interest in airplanes.

This interesting lifestyle has even spread to many parts of the world, including Canada, South Africa and Costa Rica.
