Turn dry leaves into firewood

Peter Morrison, 45, of the UK, had the initiative to create a new green fuel: using dry leaves to make firewood.

Every year, about 1 million tons of fallen leaves are produced every year, so Mr. Morrison's staff only collects and compresses dry leaves into logs, each piece of wood is made from about 1kg of dry leaves. Notably, this kind of dry leafwood creates more heat than wood firewood and burns longer.

BioFuels International Limited (BIFL) currently sells firewood leaf logs about 30cm long, each burning within three hours. Leaf log does a good job: has reduced the exploitation of naturally polluting natural fuels and cleaned the streets.
