Vaccine test for herpes
BioVex biotech company (USA) has successfully tested the vaccine animal in genital herpes (herpes 2) and is preparing to test with people who have a partner or sick lover.
According to BioVex, the modified virus in the new vaccine does not impair the immune system of the injected person. The world's leading pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline has tried to produce vaccines for herpes 2 but this vaccine is not effective when tested on humans.
Genital herpes is caused by a virus that is able to spread strongly and persist in the human body. Symptoms are small blisters or papules on the mucosa of the anal area or genital area.
Blisters that develop into clusters may develop into ulcers, patients often have a burning sensation, throbbing and itching in place. The lesions may not be seen if the disease develops in the vagina, on the cervix or in the male urethra.
