Video: 3D printers create pizza for astronauts
In May last year, a mechanical engineer named Anjan Contractor once impressed the tech world by announcing a 3D printer that could create pizza to serve astronauts at Co US Space and Aerospace (NASA). And today we were able to see how the video of this 3D printer made pizza production.

Contractor said that this printer can create pizza with full starch, protein, fat, spray flavor, odor, and micronutrients. Contractor's printers take food blocks to create shells, cheese, and so-called "protein layers" for dishes. All will be cooked when printed. On the YouTube page, the Contractor said it would take about 70 seconds to cook the pizza after it was printed from a 3D printer.
Last year, NASA funded Anjan Contractor for $ 125,000 for the development of this 3D printer. The project promises to help astronauts have an additional source of nutritious food to replace the current canned dry food. The Contractor said the food cartons the printer used for a 30-year term, enough time for astronauts to print food during the journey to Mars.
