Video: A scary fall from a high mountain half a kilometer
A skier was lucky to survive after falling from a 488m high slopes in Alaska, USA.
Ian McIntosh, an experienced, unexpected skier who lost control while sliding down the slope of Neacola (about 488m high) in Alaska. The video recorded at the scene showed that Ian rolled fur around the flank for nearly 1 minute.
Ian McIntosh lost control and fell free from the 488m high slopes.
In the video, Ian could be heard screaming in pain while falling at high speed. In the end, this man was also lucky to stop and could stand up by himself, before shouting: 'I'm fine, I'm okay!'.
Talking about the horrific accident that just happened, Ian said, he lost control because he encountered a deep groove about 1.5m in the first slide. Luckily, he caught the air bag to help avoid injuries while falling.
The video of Ian McIntosh's free fall was later posted on YouTube and has so far attracted more than 357,000 views.
