B-shoe fall prevention shoes
High-tech shoes, with the ability to recognize when a user is about to fall into balance, promises to help prevent thousands of injuries from falling, especially in the elderly.
The B-shoe, manufactured by Israel's B-shoe company, looks like a normal pair of shoes, but it is equipped with pressure sensors in the sole and heels to monitor the movement of body weight. These sensors connect to 10 small wheels that are mounted under the sole of the shoe. Once the pressure sensing sensor suddenly diverts forward or backward, signaling the user is about to fall, it sends the signal to a wheel that controls the wheel. At that, the wheels immediately roll forward or back 5-7 cm to restore balance and help the owner not fall.
In terms of structure, the wheels are designed slightly slightly protruding from the base to stay in contact with the ground, alternating with the small brakes help users not slip when walking normally.
Dr. Abraham Stamper said B-shoe boots operate with a rechargeable battery attached to the base. "Testers of prototype shoes say it helps them significantly improve their balance ability ," he added, but did not disclose when the commercial product will officially launch.
Lechal shoes, the world's first interactive footwear company in India, are designed to help users avoid straying and are expected to tap into the SatNav navigation system.
This shoe connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth, which monitors the owner's location and destination. If a user is lost (in the middle of a forest or in an unfamiliar city), the shoe will rely on the phone's navigational path to navigate, by shaking lightly in one of the two shoes when the owner is alerted or when to change direction. Footwear also incorporates foot counting and burn calorie burning so it is also suitable for those who like to run.
Lechal says the 'footnav' technology is built into their Ferrari-red shoe or in shoe laces that can be attached to any shoe. All for only $ 100. It is known that in June to launch new products to the world market but now, the company has received more than 3,000 orders.
