Smart shoes help you to never fall

The smart shoes of a technology company in Israel have become the savior for the elderly.

Recent research has shown that at age 65, one in three people has a fall and a serious injury every year. The higher the age, the greater the likelihood of falling and the seriousness of the injury. As self-balancing capacity has declined, it is understandable that old people are hardly able to get the balance back fast enough to stand. But this problem is now solved.

B-shoe is a smart shoe from a technology company in Israel, led by Dr. Yonatan Manor. Using ultra-lightweight materials, the B-shoe has pressure sensors and an integrated motion device, a microprocessor chip, a rechargeable battery pack combined with a sophisticated algorithm.

These shoes will feel the most delicate imbalances, then automatically attach the same force as stepping backwards, acting on one leg as a pillow and helping the shoe wearer avoid falling.

With that in mind, B-shoe's main target audience will be the elderly and the production team plans to license the product as a medical device, not a technology or fashion product.
