In the hemodialysis system, water is one of the two most important factors. On average, a dialysis patient needs 22,000 liters of ultra-pure water each year.

If the water is not pure, it can lead to complications when dialysis.

Because the patient's kidneys are damaged, no longer able to filter impurities, ions and bacteria into the blood, the infused water needs to be absolutely clean.

The water source is not guaranteed to be super-pure, which can easily cause complications for patients during hemodialysis.
