Video: See death pit swallowing dozens of forest trees

A giant death pit has just appeared under the water in Louisiana, USA and swallowed many large trees in less than a minute.

An amateur cameraman recorded the scary image of Assumption Parish in Louisiana on August 21. Officials estimate the size of this crater is about 100m ² . People discovered this death hole for the first time a year ago and experts said it would continue to expand in the next few years.

John Boudreaux, director of the local emergency agency, has just arrived at the scene to monitor the situation. Scientists believe that this death hole was formed after a collapse of the underground dome of a salt cave. Its latest activity is due to underground tremors.
