The giant blue topaz stone in London's Museum of Natural History, England holds the world's largest record with a weight of 9,381 carats.
Topaz stones have a massive volume.
The 2kg topaz stone was found by a man named Max Ostro in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil in the mid-1980s, according to The Sun. The stone is named Ostro Topaz and is located in the storage cellar of the Ostro family from there.
When Max died six years ago, his son Maurice Ostro decided to hand over the gem to the London Museum of Natural History and Ostro Topaz will be on display at the museum's mineral room from October 19.
