A supermoon occurs when the Moon is near Earth. When viewed from Earth, the Moon is 10-30% larger and brighter than the full moon. In this appearance, the Moon will reach its maximum size at 0:48 minutes on March 10.

According to the Hanoi Amateur Astronomical Association, the native American tribes in the old times called this full moon Moon Worm (Full Worm Moon) because this is the time when the ground becomes porous and earthworms begin to appear. come back.

This full moon is also known as the Full Crow Moon, Full Crust Moon, Full Sap Moon and Lenten Moon.

This is the 2nd of the 4 super moon times of 2020. Previously, on 9/2 the first super moon took place. Native American tribes in ancient times referred to that full moon as the Snow Moon (Full Snow Moon) because this was the thickest snowfall of the year. This full moon is also known as the Full Hunger Moon because it happened to coincide with the harshest weather of the year, hunting and gathering became difficult.
