Vietnam prepares to launch Vinasat-2 satellite
Vinasat-2 satellite with a total investment of US $ 290-350 million is expected to be put into orbit in 2012.
Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group reported to the Ministry of Information and Communications about the implementation of Vinasat-2 project located at 107 degrees East on September 3 last.

Currently, the Post and Telecommunications Group is considering the possibility of acquiring technology, launching satellites or doing some basic steps, conducting market research, and working with some water partners. out.
It is known that since July 2009, the Ministry of Information and Communications has assigned the Post and Telecommunications Group to use the orbit position for Vinasat-2 satellite. At the same time, this group reported that there will be detailed reports with the Ministry's leaders about the feasibility and specific implementation steps.
The goal of Vinasat-2 project is to promote Vietnam's telecommunications market to develop and meet customer requirements.
Previously, on April 19, 2008, Vietnam successfully launched the Vinasat-1 satellite.
By successfully launching Vinasat-1, Vietnam has named itself on the spatial map, demonstrating national sovereignty and enhancing Vietnam's capacity and position in the international arena.
