Wake up after six years of plant life
Christa Lilly of Colorado Springs (Colorado, USA) has been living plants since November 2000, but suddenly awoke for three days this week. She even talked to family members and interviewed the local television station before returning to live the plant life.
The first sentence she told her mother on March 4 was: ' I'm still fine '. On KKTV-TV, she answered very consciously: ' I think I woke up to be wonderful. It makes me very happy . ' She woke up four times and this time was the longest and could speak. Before she fell asleep, she also said that the hardest thing to wake up was to learn to speak again.
Her doctor, Randall Bjork, could not explain how and why she woke up. He said plant life was like a deep coma, but his eyes remained open and needed to be fed through the tube. He thought that his patients were still awake, so they certainly woke up.
