Water whirlpool is rare near Hawaii airport

A huge pillar of water that is actually a rare water tornado has appeared on the sea near Honolulu airport in Hawaii, USA.

Whirlwind looks like a regular tornado.

Whirlwinds appear when a whirlwind sucks up a swirling mass of water, creating a giant water column moving on the sea.

The water column created by the whirlpool of water can be several meters to 2,000 meters high and sometimes up to several hundred meters in diameter. They usually travel at 130km / h and last an average of 5-10 minutes but sometimes large pillars can last for hours.

Hurricanes and tornadoes have formed in the Hawaiian region in recent days, but water tornadoes are far from the shore so they do not cause damage.
