Welcoming 4 Nobel laureates scientists
On the afternoon of August 11, four professors who won the Nobel Prize for Physics were present in Binh Dinh to attend the '9th Vietnam Meeting'. Those are professors: Jack Steinberger (won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1988), David J.Gross (won the 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics), Georges Smoot (won the 2006 Nobel Prize in Physics), Sheldon Lee Glashow (won the prize Nobel Physics in 1979). Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Phu Cat airport to welcome the professors.

Previously, on August 4, Professor Klaus von Klitzing (won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1985) came to Binh Dinh. 5 Nobel laureates will join together with more than 200 scientists from 30 countries to attend the inauguration of the Interdisciplinary International Center for Science and Education and attend the International Physics Scientific Conference with the theme ' The windows look out to the universe '. At this conference, scientists will focus on exchanging scientific information on physics, astronomy and cosmology, about the importance of basic science for humanity.
Also in the afternoon of August 11, Professor Ngo Bao Chau was present in Quy Nhon to attend the ' 9th Vietnam Meeting'.
