According to Bored Panda, the idea of designing this unique and useful T-shirt was thought out by three Swiss men named George, Steven and Florian. On an evening of beer drinking while traveling in Vietnam, the three people came up with this idea and immediately embarked on a realization of the powerful "assistant" for the peoples around the world.
George, Steven and Florian share, in their travel journey they have encountered many difficult situations by language barriers many times, many of which are only solved when they draw or describe with symbols to explain. So they think that carrying a symbol that describes common activities in life will be very helpful when traveling abroad. You just need to point at the picture and everyone will understand it without having to communicate in language.
With that in mind, the three people began sketching IconSpeak's design by assessing the necessity and popularity of the actual activities, thereby adding or removing the logo on the shirt. With this shirt, whether you are in the remote countryside of China or Afghanistan without knowing anything about the local language, everything is easy.
