The world's largest marine aquarium at Sentosa Resort World in Singapore on November 22 starts to open to the public.
This tank contains 45 million liters of water, is home to 100,000 marine animals of more than 800 different species.
The aquarium consists of 49 habitats, simulating various sea areas in Southeast Asia. The Open Ocean Area is home to the largest glass wall, 36 meters wide and 8.3 meters high.
In addition, the park also provides hotel rooms at 2,400 Singapore dollars (nearly US $ 2,000) per night, helping visitors stay overnight when the fish swim around. Those who like open space, adventurous can participate in diving with fish or sliding water pipes at the water park.
In the process of finishing, the Singapore aquarium has met with outcry from animal activists. They demanded to release 25 dolphins in the park into the natural environment, because one had previously died when being transported by plane from the Philippines to Singapore. Dolphins are currently isolated and will be introduced gradually to visitors.
