Yahoo tested the version of Yahoo! New mail

Yahoo said it has just upgraded its free email service, Yahoo! Mail to the new version.

However, this is still just a new test version that is not the official version of Yahoo! New mail.

Yahoo said it has added some features to the version of Yahoo! New mail. Among them are a number of features that help Yahoo! Mail is becoming more and more similar to desktop email applications such as the Reading pane, which allows users to read emails faster and more similarly to Outlook's way of reading messages. Tab reading by Tab - similar to Tab browsing, each email will now open in a different tab. Other features include support for 'drag-and-drop', RSS, new search capabilities, automatic new mail checking, spam protection and access anywhere.
