The Western Australia Environment and Conservation Agency said dolphins have moved to shallow waters in Whalers Cove near Albany on the southern coast of the country and are at risk of collective landslides.

Conservationists discovered the incident when a dolphin died when it rushed ashore.

The leader of the conservation agency, Deon Utber, said that at high tide, wildlife experts moved a dolphin to deeper waters to gradually lure other animals with it.

"The young dolphin sent out a warning signal and called the dolphins. As soon as it was released into the deeper waters, the fish swam following it and the last time we saw it, they were swimming to the sea. " he said.
