After 20 years of research, Ellis believed that Solomon was not even an Israeli king but was actually an Egyptian pharaoh Shoshenq I , ruler of Egypt and Israel in the late 10th century BC.

"According to the Bible, King Salomon was amazingly rich. But generations of theologians and archaeologists have rummaged through the holy land to search for capital, palaces, temples and wealth. that he did not succeed, " Ellis said.

According to Ellis, we may be looking for things that are not true or in the wrong place."A wealthy and powerful dynasty of Jews once existed, just like the Bible mentioned, but they are not merely kings and their capitals not in Jerusalem , " Elli said. .

Ellis believed that if his hypothesis was correct, the property of Pharaoh Solomon was among the artefacts displayed at the Egyptian Antiquities Museum in Cairo.
