Successfully created the face of the dwarf Hobbit

An Australian anthropologist has successfully created the face of the Hobbit dwarf (scientific name Homo floresiensis) - one of human ancestors.

Available in forensic science knowledge, Susan Hayes - an anthropologist working at Wollongong University (Australia) - has used high-resolution CT scans and 3D images to create realistic images of The face from a Homo floresiensis skull is about 30 years old and 0.9 m high.

According to UPI News Agency (USA), the skull was unearthed in Liang Bua cave on the remote island of Flores in Indonesia in 2003. At least 13 bones of Homo floresiensis were also excavated at the site in time. from 2001-2004.

'Her face [Homo floresiensis] is not beautiful, has big eyes and a small forehead. In general, Homo floresiensis has many similarities with us , 'Hayes said.

Homo floresiensis dwarfs are less than 1 meter taller than we are today, living on the Indonesian island of Flores about 17,000 years ago.
