Floating skateboarding (Sierra Nevada, USA)
The feeling of skateboarding on a sliding slope on the water will certainly be scary and contains much more danger than usual. Therefore, this unique floating skateboard slope is placed on the surface of Lake Tahoe and not on the sea.
This unique work is by professional skater Bob Burnquist in collaboration with architects Jerry Blohm and Jeff King. He thought that the slopes and normal troughs were too boring and his life's work would be where skaters felt proud to come.
Floating forest (Australia)
This incredible 102-year-old floating forest is a result of 40 years of mangrove trees growing on an old ship in Homebush Bay, Sydney. SS Aryfield is an abandoned ship in the bay from World War II after its shipyard is closed.
SS Aryfield was a British-owned mineral carrier in 1911 and used by the Commonwealth government during World War II to transport supplies to the US military in the Pacific. It was sold in 1950 and turned it into a cargo ship between Newcastle and Sydney. By 1972, after the expiry date, it was sent to its current residence, Homebush Bay. The mangroves that grow on ships now turn the ship into a mass attraction for photographers all over the world.

Swimming pool Arena Badeschiff in Berlin, Germany, is the ideal entertainment venue on the hot days in the capital. This 32m-long swimming pool floats on the Spree River and is open to people for entertainment, sunbathing, yoga and swimming. This pool was built by the architects of AMP Arquitectos including Wilk Salinas, Thomas Freiwald and artist Susanne Lorenz.

The yard can withstand 1,070 tons, equivalent to 9,000 people, 200 tons of props and 30 tons of military vehicles. The stadium stands can accommodate 30,000 people.

The small island 2 also has a 3-storey architecture with an area of 5373 square meters, specializing in building facilities for cultural events. The third small island, 2 stories high, 4,164 square meters, provides water sports for sports activities such as boat racing. The total number of seats on the island is 1,400. However, the island can accommodate 6,200 people and is an attractive tourist destination with more than 59 million tourists in 2013.
