The first case of influenza infection in this building is an officer of Viettel flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on July 16. On July 24, this patient had a flu manifestation and came to the National Institute of Clinical Medicine for Tropical Diseases and was positive for influenza A / H1N1.

Immediately after confirming the information, the Institute of Military Hygiene and Epidemiology conducted disinfection and disinfection of the office and the environment around this building. Also supervise those who have had first contact with patients.

As of 17:00 today (July 27), it has confirmed that 10 people exposed to this patient showed influenza A / H1N1, in which 3 people showed fever, cough, runny nose; The remaining 7 people have a cough. Currently, all of these 10 people have been isolated and monitored by the Institute of Military Hygiene and Epidemiology, taking samples of specimens for testing, without confirmed results.
