1/50 British father is raising other people without knowing

This shocking rate is the new research result published in the journal "Trends in ecosystems and evolution."

According to Independent, this is the result of research by scientists at the University of Leuven in Belgium. It shows the fact that it turns out that the number of fathers who accidentally fell into the "puzzling spider" scene is not as rare as people think for a long time.

The researchers said they decided to conduct the first in-depth study on the issue after recognizing a curious, interesting practice, while this is a huge concern for most men. it seems that serious scientific research has not paid attention.

According to the results of this study, one in 50 men in the UK has another person who is not aware of it.

Early scientists hypothesized that about 10% of fathers would fall into this situation, so they were surprised (happily) when in fact only 2% of cases were affected.

The author reported on the study, Maarten Larmuseau said: "The media and famous scientific literary works often say that there are many horned fathers who must raise children who are not their own children. This ratio is generally very low, only 1 or 2% ".
