Many people, when referring to the name of the most polluted city in the world, point to TP. Beijing of China but the truth is not so.

The truth has been proved by a report by the WHO Health Organization last year, India is currently the only country with the highest number of polluted cities in the world, the most polluted is the New Capital Delhi.

According to the report, India has 13 of the 20 most polluted cities in the world. This figure also partly reflects the level of health and environmental status degraded in the second largest population in the world and the third largest economy in Asia.

The report also ranked 1,600 cities in 91 countries for air quality targets with safe dust concentrations from 10 PM to 2.5 PM. That is, if the concentration of dust and toxic substances in the air is higher than 2.5 to 10 microns in diameter, it will lead to an increasing possibility of lung disease in humans.

In the New Delhi capital, the annual average concentration of dust in the air is 153 ug / m3 (micrograms per cubic meter of gas), which is six times the WHO maximum recommended. At many different times of the year this figure is even higher, especially in the hot season and industrial activity is strong.
