2,500 scientists attend the 2012 space research conference

This conference has the theme 'Space - For the benefit of Mankind' taking place at the Center NR Narayana Murthy, Infosys, Mysore campus, from July 14 to July 22, by Space Research Organization. According to the program, the participating scientists will present more than 3,600 scientific papers, reports through more than 630 sessions. Previously, in 1979, ISRO also organized an international space conference of COSPA in Bangalore.
COSPAR is considered one of the leading space research scientific associations, including the national scientific organization and the International Science Union as a member, founded in 1958 by the International Science Council. (ICSU).
COSPAR's activities aim to promote scientific research in space on an international level, with an emphasis on exchanging information, results and opinions, and creating an open forum for all scientists, discussions on issues that affect the science of space science.
