3 Americans shared the 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine
The Nobel Prize in medicine has identified the owner - three US national scientists Elizabeth Blackburn, Carol Greider and Jack Szostak.
The Nobel committee of the Karolinska Institute (Sweden) has announced that the trio deserves to receive this award because of the research related to cancer treatment and the aging process.
The award, announced today, includes 10 million kronor ($ 1.4 million), a certificate and an invitation to attend the awards ceremony in Stockholm (Sweden) on December 10.

Elizabeth H. Blackburn (born 1948, in Australia) works at the University of California, San Francisco; Carol Greider (born 1961, in the United States) worked at the University of Baltimore Medical School, USA, and Jack Szostak (born 1952, UK) of Massachusetts Hospital, USA shared this award.
Karolinska Institute confirmed that the three scientists had " solved a major problem in biology ", when chromosome detection was reproduced during cell division and protected from such aging. Come on. This work may open a new direction in the treatment of cancer and the aging process of humans.
In 2008, the Nobel Prize for Medicine was awarded to three German and French scientists for their discoveries related to HIV and the virus that causes cervical cancer.
