After the application was approved, the boy continued to go through a 45-minute online interview with a Google expert.
Referring to this "brain damage" screen, Yen Thanh said, after greeting and introducing the name, the employer started going directly to the qualification test. In the first 30 minutes, a Google representative asked questions that were deeply rooted in the field of registered candidates.
The questions Thanh received were focused on algorithms and theories to demonstrate logical thinking ability, knowledge of computers, computing .
" Armed with a lot of related knowledge, but I was quite surprised by many questions from Google. Most of them are outside my preparation," Thanh recalled.
In addition to testing qualifications and knowledge, employers also pay attention to the self-confident, responsive reflexes of candidates when answering questions.
" After completing the relevant professional questions, Google representatives wanted to know where I would choose to practice in their offices. Without thinking, I asked again: 'Am I selected? "They are quite surprised and laugh at their answers," Thanh said.
The boy added, after passing the online interview, the candidate will go through a round of live phone interviews. The criterion of this round is for Google to check once more the candidate's English communication skills, before deciding to issue a visa and send congratulatory letters.

In grade 3, Thanh was facilitated by his family to access computers. Besides, the influence of scientific films is the driving force of Yen Thanh's passion for computers. In the beginning, the boy always wanted to explore and study software with high applicability to daily life. With studiousness, from high school, Thanh wrote his own programs for the school. Sharing a happy memory, Thanh said, he used to create a student management software that lists weekly class rankings, violates statistics and assigns each student behavior.

In order to foster their dreams, from the second year of university, Yen Thanh has focused on accumulating practical experience. Outside of class time, the boy actively applied for internship at major software companies in the South.

Also from here, the desire to work at large foreign corporations and companies has become increasingly fierce. After some internship, the boy received a job offer from local companies. Sharing the feeling these days, Yen Thanh said, quite excited and eager to wait until the internship in Silicon Valley.

In high school years, Yen Thanh continuously collected for himself dozens of small and large awards at provincial and national level, related to informatics.
