At 6:30 am, the first train rolled from Yen Nghia station (Ha Dong district) in the expectation of many guests.
At this time, the new sky was dim, the weather was cool, the street below was still empty, high above the train with an average speed of 30-35 km / h (maximum 65 km / h).
The train rolled through 12 stations, each stop for 1 minute and ended at Cat Linh station (Dong Da district).
According to Mr. Vu Hong Phuong (Deputy General Director in charge of the Railway Project Management Board), trains will have a schedule of running 10 minutes apart within two hours.
Serial trains in order to arrive at Cat Linh station will reverse through feathering and run to the starting point at Yen Nghia station.

Total time is 25 minutes from departure from Yen Nghia station (Ha Dong) to Cat Linh terminus (Dong Da).
The representative of the Railway Project Management Board said that the trains of Cat Linh - Ha Dong line will be tested for 3 - 6 months with the goal of bringing the eligible project into commercial operation before the Lunar New Year 2019.
The guests after visiting Cat Linh station got on the train to go back to Yen Nghia station, ending the test run on September 20 morning.
