Highest train station in Vietnam
Built over 80 years ago, Da Lat Station is an ancient station in Vietnam and has a rare sawtooth railway architecture in the world.
Located on the slope of Yersin Road, Da Lat Station was built by France in 1932 and completed 6 years later.This is a railway connecting Phan Rang - Da Lat with a length of 84 km.According to many people, the station architecture is the stylization of three Langbiang peaks or communal houses in the Central Highlands.
The station has 3 pyramidal roofs with a length of 66.5 m, a height of 11.4 m and a height of 11 m.The work was designed by 2 French architects Reveron and Moncet, bearing the appearance of stations in the South of this country: high roof and arched shape.
