From October 7 to 8, the Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and Minister Cao Duc Phat, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development checked the flooded areas of Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces to direct the prevention of floods and visits, encouraging people.

The Deputy Prime Minister directly surveyed and directed the provinces to focus on quickly recovering the system of essential infrastructure after the consequences of floods such as traffic, electricity, health, schools . especially helping people rebuild their houses to stabilize their lives and production.

The Ministry of Defense has organized 9 flights carrying 7.6 tons of cargo (instant noodles and filtered water) to supply people with the unpaved road traffic area of ​​Quang Binh; what 2 naval ships search for distressed vessels at sea; Bien soldiers sent more than 3,360 soldiers and 226 vehicles of all types to be ready to take part in overcoming the consequences of flooding .

Ministry of Transport has organized repair of roads after the flood receded. At the moment, National Highway 1A has opened the entire route, Ho Chi Minh Road is only blocked at two points in Quang Binh province; North-South railway route has passed the first step, only congestion at some points in Quang Binh province.

The railway industry organized a transfer of passengers on Thong Nhat trains trapped by floods to continue their journey. Up to this point, no passengers were trapped at the stations affected by the flood.

The work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters has been implemented urgently by the Central provinces.
