Accidentally found a giant mushroom nearly half a pound

The mushroom weighing 44kg, diameter 1m and high 50cm, was found by a 70-year-old Mr. Ngo in the forest.

The fungus was found in the forest of Bac Xuyen district, the treatment of Mi Duong town, Sichuan province, China on September 12.

He said, almost 70 years old but now he is only to see a giant mushroom to such. The mushroom has all 16 layers, shaped like a giant multi-petaled flower, originally light yellow in color, when picked up, gradually turning to yellowish red, the size is also narrower.

It is known that the giant mushroom was found on the right day of Mid-Autumn Festival, September 12. That morning, Mr. Wu entered the forest about 10 miles from his house to find pecans and chestnuts but did not expect to see this giant mushroom. When they arrived at the village, the villagers did not believe in the existence of a mushroom weighing up to 44kg.

After that, Mr. Wu brought his son and some friends back to the forest to try to bring the mushroom back.'It is a long and quite hard journey' - Mr. Ngo said.

Currently, this giant mushroom is being examined by a few local research agencies and tested to see if the mushroom has a therapeutic effect and estimates its true value.
