Add a new type of Internet access

Internet access with optical cable (FTTH) is a new type of high speed Internet access that will officially be available in Vietnam from November 1 provided by FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom).

This is the first time FTTH has been provided to customers in Vietnam and this type of Internet access is currently only offered in Japan and Korea.

FPT Telecom hopes FTTH services will attract customers who are public Internet agencies, organizations and agents that use many computers at the same time.

In fact, with just one fiber optic cable, FTTH allows 300 computers to access the Internet at the same time.

In addition, compared to the type of high-speed Internet access ADSL, FTTH has the advantage of not being affected by objective factors affecting the transmission speed.

In the first time, FPT Telecom will provide FTTH services in Hanoi with four packages of 4, 8, 16, 20Mbps.

The initial installation cost is VND 8 million, the monthly subscription fee corresponding to the above four packages is VND 3 million, 6 million, 12 million and VND 15 million.
