Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Standing Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Pham Van Linh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department ; Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and many leaders of central and local departments and agencies.
This is an activity on the World Ocean Day (June 8), World Environment Day (June 5) and Vietnam Sea and Island Week.
At the showroom will introduce historical documents and materials on scientific research in the Paracel and Spratly Islands; images and documents on the survey and research activities of the Institute of Oceanography in the seas and islands; samples of organisms, geology . collected in the sea and islands; some marine species living in the waters of the Paracel and Spratly Islands are domesticated and for artificial reproduction at the Institute of Oceanography .
