Alien spiders cause confusion in Russia

The spider has an abdomen that looks like an alien face found in Russian homes, causing many people to fear.

A resident of Penza, Russia shared the image of a spider with an abdomen that looks like an alien face appearing in his house, reported on Tuesday.

This person warned that this is a carnivorous, poisonous and dangerous spider. Many people even fear this is an alien monster that is beginning to invade Earth.

However, zoologist Oleg Polumordvinov has reassured the people. He identified this as a crab spider , a genus of the genus Misumena . They are longer than 6mm.

"The spider can crawl from the outside into the room. You just need to catch and release it , " Oleg said.

In addition, there are photos of the spider Ebrechtella tricuspidata, belonging to the genus Ebrechtella with the shape of a spider found.

"This is a characteristic spider in our region and not harmful to humans. They are often found in the fall and only eat flies," an expert said.
