Endeavor will depart at 19h55 on Friday afternoon local time (5:55 am Saturday GMT) at the Kennedy Center, Florida state. Endeavor's mission, which lasted for 15 days, was to complete the ISS expansion so that it could accommodate 6 people (double the current number).

Among the equipment the ship brought to the International Space Station had a $ 250 million recycling system to turn urine and other wastewater into drinking water, two beds and a toilet.

'The number of astronauts on ISS will increase to 6, so a toilet cannot meet their needs. We need to add one more toilet, 'said Joe Delai, Endeavor's freight manager.

NASA plans to launch a spacecraft into space to repair the Hubble telescope, but the flight has to be postponed so that engineers have more time to handle technical problems that one of Hubble's computers fails. That delay caused NASA to shift to a plan to expand the international space station.
