Two astronauts Michael Fincke and Yury Lonchakov stepped out of the ISS international space station today to complete the work that began on December 23.

It is expected that this walk will last 5 hours 45 minutes, but the two astronauts have returned to the ISS station 55 minutes earlier than planned. They installed a part of the European Space Agency's experimental equipment and disassembled some parts of the station, to avoid obstructing the continuation of future Soyuz or Progress cargo spacecraft.

During the space walk in December 2008, Lonchakov and Fincke installed electromagnetic measuring devices to solve problems related to the connection of the Soyuz vessel.
