Ancient map of 'flat earth'

A man gave a rare gift to the Library of Congress. It is a 120-year-old map that proves the earth is flat.

Don Homuth, once a former senator from North Dakota, USA, said he received this map from his teacher when he was in 8th grade. It was published by Orlando Ferguson in the city of Hot Springs, South Dakota 120 years ago. .

A spokesman for the parliament library told the AP , the authorities were checking at least 75 maps to confirm that the map of Homuth was real.

He added that only one other famous copy of this map is being kept by a museum.
