Archaeologists excavate a sword believed to date more than 2,300 years inside an ancient grave in Xinuang City, China, Mirror 1/1 reported.
The sword may have been born during the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). The sword is preserved in almost perfect condition thanks to the external scabbard.
When the gloves were gently removed from the sheath, the sword easily slid out from the shell, revealing a shiny silver blade like a new one. The sword will be exhibited at a national museum after thorough examination.
