Announcing a special national monument of Go Thap
On December 26, Go Thap archaeological and architectural relics (Dong Thap) will be officially announced as a special national monument.

Go Thap historical and archaeological site, also known as Nam Gian Pagoda, is located in Tan Kieu commune and My Hoa commune, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province, with a conservation area of about 290ha. On September 27, Go Thap was decided by the Prime Minister to rank on the list of special national monuments.
Go Thap special national monument carries many historical, cultural and scientific values associated with Oc Eo culture. Some cultural heritages preserved here until now can include: Go Thap Muoi - bearing the temple of Vishnu with many artifacts of the Oc Eo cultural period such as: Vishnu statue, arm stone statues, Yoni ditches, jewelry molds ., Go Ba Chua Xu, Go Minh Su, Thap Linh Pagoda, Mieu Hoang Co, Mo Doc soldiers Nguyen Tan Kieu .
It is known that, in parallel with the announcement ceremony of Go Thap special national monument, there is also the anniversary of Thien Duyen and the army commander Nguyen Tan Kieu, two heroes who saved the country in the early period against the French. In addition, there are exhibitions of artifacts, archaeological relics, art exhibition exhibitions of the country - Dong Thap people .
